Rev. Peggy Garrigues, Pastor She has previously been pastor of several other churches, led retreats for churches and women's groups, done ministry with college students, coordinated mission trips, written songs of faith, taught violin lessons, helped religious congregations reduce their energy use through Michigan Interfaith Power and Light (www.miipl.org), and worked on interfaith projects with people of different faiths and religious backgrounds.
Reverend Peggy Garrigues, who became our pastor in July 2010, is excited to be a part of this Clawson community and congregation. She has a passion for helping people to experience God's love in fresh ways. In worship and other programs she leads, you might find yourself reflecting on where Bible stories are still happening today, using your senses in nature to experience God's grace, occasionally involving your body in worship and prayer, or connecting to God thorugh music. She challenges us to nurture relationships by being true and authentic with each other, serving others, imagining new forms of ministry, and learning to trust that in Jesus Christ, God does fully enter into human life to bless and transform, heal and renew.
